our communities
The Communities of Oak Park, River Forest and Forest Park are located
about 11 miles from downtown Chicago and about 20 miles from O'Hare
International Airport and Midway Airport. They are served by CTA's
Congress and Lake Street El lines, Metra Train and Pace suburban
buses. Three nearby major medical centers serve the area and provide
residents with high quality healthcare. In addition, all three communities
have a top notch police and fire departments.
There is diversity of housing options - from studio apartments
to million-dollar mansions - which makes my communities great places
to live!

Oak Park
Oak
Park is an "urban suburban" community, mixing the vitality of urban
life with quaint Victorian charm with approximately 54,000 residents,
7 recreation centers, 16 parks (2 with outdoor swimming pools &
1 indoor skating rink), 6 private athletic clubs. Oak Park is renowned
as the home of the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio. Many of Wright's
masterpieces are located in the historical district.
Homes range in style from prairie to Victorian, sturdy bungalow
to homey American 4 square and condominium & rental units in a wide
range of styles are also available. Something for everyone!
The people of Oak Park have chosen the community not so much as
place to live, but as a way of life. A key ingredient in the quality
of life is the diversity of these same people; a broad representation
of various occupations, professions, lifestyles, age and income
levels, a stimulating mixture of racial, religious and ethnic groups.
Such diversity is Oak Park's strength.

Forest Park
Forest
Park is a family-oriented community with a small-town atmosphere
boasting the conveniences of a much larger community such as easy
access to shopping, transportation and medical services. The "Village
with a Smile" has excellent schools as evidenced by the increasing
academic achievements, innovative teachers and expanding curriculum.
The Park District of Forest Park, a 15 acre park, featuring a beautiful,
new aquatic center, and the Forest Park Public Library in its new

anything you need.

West Town Tavern
1329 W. Chicago Ave.
Ph. 312-666-6175.
www.westtowntavern.com
West Town Tavern serves contemporary comfort food
Monday through Saturday beginning at 5:00 PM. Housed in an 1880s
building that retains the original tin ceiling, exposed brick walls
and hardwood floors, the Taverns atmosphere is accented with
celadon linen drapes and floor-to-ceiling French doors that open
to the sidewalk for cool summer breezes. The restaurant seats seventy
guests along with fifteen seats at the lustrous oak bar.
We sought to create a cozy ambiance reminiscent of Chicago
neighborhood restaurants of the 1940s, said Susan Goss, executive
chef and co-owner. Our vision when creating West Town Tavern
was to design it as a place for people to appreciate a nice glass
of wine and quick dinner after work and to enjoy a leisurely Saturday
evening with friends.
While reservations are accepted at West Town Tavern, most people
feel free to walk in on the spur of the moment and enjoy a glass
of wine at the friendly bar while waiting for a table. True to the
spirit of the original American Taverns, West Town Tavern serves
as a meeting place where people gather for great food and wine as
well as a chance to catch up with friends. We hope West Town Tavern
becomes one of your favorite places too.
Don't miss the First Monday (of each month) wine dinners. Three
or more courses, paired with three or more wines.
